Phantom Creeps in fine form

E-mail Print PDF

The Phantom Creeps played an upbeat set of rockabilly tinged punk, Dec. 10 Photo by Richard AmeryThe Phantom Creeps were back in fine form at the Slice, Dec. 10.

While Smokestack Jacks were just clearing the stage by the time I arrived, local punk/ psychobilly influenced Phantom Creeps began with a  few bars of ‘Eye of the Tiger.’

Then they locked in and played an upbeat set of punk with stand up bass which has a good sized crowd jumping around in front of the stage to several crowd favourites and upbeat originals including ‘Route 666’ and ‘Hell To Pay.’
