Matthew Robinson plays laid back show of acoustic music

E-mail Print PDF

Matthew Robinson did double duty this weekend, opening for the Coal Creek Boys, Jan, 14 at the Slice, but also had his own laid back show at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Jan. 13.Matt Robinson playing laid back acoustic music. Photo by Richard Amery

Robinson with Evan Eushenko playing lead guitar and singing vocal harmonies on a variety of slower paced folk/ blues along the lines of more acoustic Neil Young.

I thought I heard a relaxed version of Neil Young’s “Cortez the Killer,” in their set. Brenna Lowrie opened up the show with a set of Ani-DiFranco style acoustic folk music.
