A good sized crowd showed up at Blueprint Records during the afternoon of April 21 to celebrate record store day, a national celebration of vinyl. In addition to lots of records and CDs, they also featured several local bands performing throughout the afternoon. I caught part of a hot set by Red Rum Triumph with Kelsey Jesperson and Steve Foord sitting on either side of the door.
They sang a strong set of original folk tinged rock music and alternated between several instruemtns. Jesperson played a little mandolin as well as fiddel, while Foord played mandolin and guitar and sang.
