Dalliance Elixir played to a packed Owl Acoustic, Lounge, May 4. It was great to see Jolene Draper, Murray Nelson and Bruce Roome playing again.
Jolene Draper’s jazzy, thin reedy voice is always a pleasure to hear and it has been too long sinc eI’ve heard her sing.
She swayed back and forth and closed her eyes , lost in thought as she sang several upbeat , jazzy, pop tinged originals as well as a few choice covers by Fleetwood Mac.
Roome and Nelson switched between guitar and bass throughout the set.
