Dalliance Elixir makes much anticipated return to stage

E-mail Print PDF

Dalliance Elixir played to a packed Owl Acoustic, Lounge, May 4. It was great to see Jolene Draper, Murray Nelson and Bruce RoomeBruce Roome and Jolene Draper of Dalliance Elixir. Photo by Richard Amery playing again.

Jolene Draper’s jazzy, thin reedy voice is always a pleasure to hear and it has been too long sinc eI’ve heard her sing.

She swayed back and forth and closed her eyes , lost in thought as she sang several upbeat , jazzy, pop tinged originals as well as a few choice covers by Fleetwood Mac.

Roome and Nelson switched between guitar and bass throughout the set.
