Andrew and Julie Scott entertain with quirky covers

E-mail Print PDF

Andrew and Julie Scott were back in Lethbridge to play a typically entertaining show at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, May 25.Andrew and Julie Scott have fun with quirky covers. Photo by Richard Amery

As always Andrew Scott was cracking a lot of jokes and tried to get the audience to whistle along while his wife, Julie was trying to keep a straight face while keeping the beat on her drum.

There were a lot of familiar originals, but the part of the set I heard was dominated by  covers, which appealed to a good sized audience.

“Last Kiss,” segued into Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here,” then back to “Last Kiss.”
And Andrew Scott brought out a baritone ukulele for a  cool version of Outkast’s hit “Hey Ya.”
