LSCO rocks the block for lots of people

E-mail Print PDF

A  massive crowd was out for the second annual LSCO rocks the block in the Civic Field, June  9.Hippodrome was a highlight of LSCO’s rock the block, June 9. Photo by Richard Amery

While I only caught part of Hippodrome’s set, they brought the funk and a lot of brass to the masses in their typically strong set of soul, R and B and disco.

As always Juran Greene and Erica Hunt were affable hosts for the party of the afternoon,  raising their hands and getting everyone up on their feet and dancing their pants off.  They were all dressed in black and wore  sunglasses for the cloudy sky.

Fast Times,Who’s Yer Daddy, Rex, the Chevelles, Double Jack and Paul Kype and Texas Flood were also on the bill.
