They fit right in with the scene, just add a couple doses of the Nix Dicksons, the Violent Femmes, liberal smatterings of ’90s pop rock like Third Eye Blind and Matchbox 20 and you’re there.
They have catchy melodies, a clean guitar song, and pop hooks to spare. beginning with the first track “Young and Restless.”
They have a touch of Celtic punk on “ Runaway Knights” with a throbbing bassline and a rousing shout of “hey.”
“Peppermint,” has a Shins feel to it while the last track, “American Hotels” has a more alternative rock Our Lady Peace/ I Mother Earth sound.
