It was girls night at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Nov. 2 with Vancouver singer songwriters Joline Baylis and Tereza Tomek.
They were a study in contrasts.
Baylis, who was singing most of the set I heard, displayer her sexy, sultry, jazz tinged voice, while Tomek sang gorgeous harmonies and shook the shakers during Baylis's songs while playing some very pretty fingerpicked guitar during hers.
Tomek had a slightly rougher voice, but her guitar playing stood out.
Local musician Jolene Draper opened the show, but unfortunately I missed her.
