There was weirdness afoot at the Owl Acoustic Lounge , Nov. 17. While I missed Brenna Lowrie's closing set, I arrived in the middle of Laura Leit's set.
I wasn’t even sure there was a performer, as Leit, dressed in a long, silky white dress crouched on the stage fiddling with equipment while doing a combination of Inuit throat singing and recording a chorus of operatic vocalizations.
