The big punk show of the week is March 30 at the Slice featuring Victoria B.C’s Durban Poison plus  the Lad Mags out of Edmonton and the Slabs ( which include former Fist City bassist Martine Menard) out of Calgary and Fist City as well.

If your tastes are more traditional,  check out the rockabilly round up at the Slice, March 28. Featured acts are local country musician Dusty Dee Litchfield, plus a country band featuring Dustin and Devin Gergel called the Old Man River Band and a rare performance by Lethbridge rockabilly trio Bent 8. Also for country music lovers, beloved Lethbridge country  trio Tom and Curt play Casino Lethbridge

this weekend. And country/ folk duo Pete Watson and Joel Bryant return to the Owl Acoustic Lounge, March 29.

Canadian songwriting icon Ron Sexsmith comes to Lethbridge to play the Geomatic Attic, March 30, but unfortunately the show is sold out.

There are a couple excellent  local jazz acts performing this week as well including James Oldenburg at the Mix Lounge in Ric’s Grill, March 27.

The Mocha Cabana has a busy Easter weekend with the Herb Hicks Quartet plays the Mocha Cabana March 29 and March 30. They have  D’arcy Kavanagh of Celtic group Gencoulee performing April 1 to ring in April Fool’s Day.  Piano man Cal Toth has his semi- regular gig at Ric’s Grill, March 30 as well where he will be playing  jazz and pop music.

And instead of the Tuesday jam, Toronto based indie rock band July Talk will rock the Slice, April 2.

The Lethbridge Publicv Library  is bringing in Juno award winning children's performer, Mary Lambert.

Mary Lambert is a family singer/songwriter/performer and outstanding Canadian artist in the children’s entertainment field. Her two Juno nominations and 10 awards from the United States (Parents’ Choice Award Winner, parenting Award Winner, Preferred Choice Award Winner, and Dr. Toy, Best Children’s Vacation Product Award Winner) are a remarkable testimony to her talent and artistry.
