His popular fundraiser which gets local artists to design a deck of playing cards which are sold for a charitable organization.
This year Shuffle Up and Deal will include a musical component.

Artists from across Canada will design playing cards inspired by musicians from across Canada who have donated one of their songs.
When you buy a deck of cards, you will be given an access code to download a CD including all of the songs.

“We’re looking for artists who want to get their work out there and indie bands who are touring and  want to get their music out there,” Lacharite outlined adding the band play a variety of different styles of music from punk to country music.

He is looking for bands of all genres. So far they have 10 musicians and artists paired up including Shred Kelly (British Columbia); Romi Mayes (Manitoba); Willhorse (British Columbia); The Void (Alberta); The Motorleague (New Brunswick); Mobina Galore (Manitoba); Transit (Alberta); Jesse and the Dandelions (Alberta) and Hank & Lily (British Columbia)

Artists so far include  Nicholas Louma (Saskatchewan); Will Woods (Alberta); Jason Trotter (Alberta); Cate Currie (Alberta); Hank Pine (British Columbia) and Tarryn Forai (Alberta).

This year there is no  designated charity all of the money goes back into the project.
“I can set up musicians and artists from across Canada , so a musician from Saskatchewan might be paired with an artist from B.C.. A lot of bands and artists give to charity, so this is a way to give back to them,” he said.

“Exposure can be pretty expensive to get,” he said. He wants to print 1,500 decks of cards.

He has started a crowd funding  campaign for the project on Indieagogo, which offers special deals and rewards for advance purchases. He has a set a goal of $6,000 from it,  though  Reeves College is back this  year to sponsor  this project.
He plans to have the project competed by November.
