Flying Fox and the Hunter Gatherers have brassy fun

E-mail Print PDF

Flying Fox and the Hunter Gatherers having fun. Photo by Richard AmeryWinnipeg’s Flying Fox and the Hunter Gatherers were in fine form at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, May 27.

They had a good sized crowd in the palm of their hands with a lot of melody and a lot of horns including a saxophone, trumpet and clarinet.

Together the trimmed down quintet had a lot of toes tapping and smiles beaming.

It is hard not to have fun as a Flying Fox and the Hunter Gatherers show, there is just something about the horn section that makes you want to smile. They played much of their new EP and were having fun throughout.
