There weren’t a lot of people to see Vancouver hard rock band Lucid Afterlife who were a last minute show added to the Slice's Tuesday jam, Sept. 2.
While I missed their set, I caught them taking part in a really cool jam with a local bassist and guitarist who laid down a rhythm while the lead singer Nat Jack who appeared to create a spontaneous freestyle rap over their riffs while drummer Matt Shearlaw added the backbeat and guitarist Dyego Avila submitted a tasteful solo. Impressive.
