Their  journey will lead them back in Lethbridge for a show at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Feb. 18 as part of a tour they began, Feb. 14.

“We’ve been pretty busy. We’re in the studio now. It’s been a slow process,” said Mindil Beach  guitarist/ vocalist Patrick Codere.

“ We won’t be done until early April, but I like that we are taking the slower approach. It’s an opportunity to  let the songs breathe,” he continued adding most of the songs they are recording are songs he and band mates keyboardist/ vocalist Roderick Campbell, bassist Matt Posnikoff and drummer/ vocalist Cam Ainslie have already been performing live.

They are excited to come back to Lethbridge.
“Our show at the Owl in October was the funnest  show of the tour,” he said.
“ It was a great crowd,” he continued.

He noted the band are learning a couple of new covers  for this tour.

“ But mostly we’ll be playing the songs we’re recording,” he continued.
They begin their tour in Enderby, B.C and head west from there.

“And we’re going to Canadian Music Week in Toronto in May and we’ll come back west and hit the summer festival circuit hard and come back to Lethbridge in late summer,” he said.
“We’re busy, but busy is good.”
