Living Hour add trombone to indie rock styles

E-mail Print PDF

The Owl Acoustic Lounge attracted a good sized crowd for a Wednesday night for Winnipeg based indie rock band  the Living Hour, Jan. 18.

They played a laid back, mellow night of ambient indie rock powered by plenty of chiming guitars and the haunting voice of lead signer/ keyboardist Sam Sarty.

She also played some beautiful trombone to add extra musical stylings to go along with her keyboards. Mischa Decter stood back on grooved on bass as drummer Alex Chochinov held down a solid beat which was making the bar vibrate.

Guitarists Gil Carroll and Adam Soloway added delay soaked rhythms and a couple of pretty guitar solos, ringing through the darkened room.
