Megan Brown is back in town and starting to play a lot.
She was with Junkman’s Quire for a pre-St. Patrick’s Day party at the Owl, March 16, but brought her own band, Makiisma to the Slice, March 22.
Brown, keyboardist TJ Waltho and rhythm section of Drummer Keenan Pezderic and bassist Steve Martin played a set of Brown’s unusual original alternative folk and even a bit of soul.
