A couple cool shows take place this week . In addition to the Irish Descendants returning to Average Joes, tonight, UK based punk tinged pop rock band Girls, Girls, Girls return to the Slice, Oct. 6.

The Slice also has an interesting space themed show, Oct. 8  with Calgary’s the Nix Dicksons as well as Jesse and the Dandelions and  the New Weather Machine.

Canandian clasic rockers Prism are also back in town this week  to play Average Joes,  Oct. 9 with all their big hits in tow inlcuding  “See Forever Eyes,” Armageddon,” “Take Me To The Kaptin,” and , of course “Spaceship Superstar.”

Also on Oct. 9, Jenny Omnichord returns to the Lethbridge to play the Owl Acoustic Lounge with Richard Laviolette.

But the big one, the one I am looking forward to seeing the most  is Ray Bonneville, who plays the Wolf’s Den Folk Club for the first time, Oct. 9. Check out the separate interview with him

He will be brigning Little Birdie to open up the show for him.

Blues fans will want to be at the Casino Lethbridge this weekend where the Düus Blues Band will be performing Friday and Saturday.

Last , but not least, former Fred Eaglesmith guitarist Dan Walsh returns to Lethbridge to play the Slice, Oct. 11.
