It is always good to see Daryll Düus play. While he usually one of the few musicians to plug in the usually unplugged Owl Acoustic Lounge, he always tears the roof of the place, as he did , Oct. 23.
He had Clayton Smith on drums and Jason Schultchen on bass for this gig and a new Strat in hand.
He blasted through a variety of classic blues rockers, and wandered through the crowd and out the door during Howlin’ Wolf’s “Killing Floor.” then wandered back on stage for a slide guitar powered version of “Boot Hill.”
