The Windy City Opry falls on Valentine's Day! Imagine that! So come on down to The Slice Bar and Grill on February 14th! Bring your date, or just bring your damn self. I've booked something for the lovers of V-Day and the non-lovers of V-Day. I aim to please, you know me.

Rugged Little Thing played the very first WCO in December of 2016. They were a real treat. I can't wait to see them play again and share them with y'all!

The Doggone Brothers are a fantastic duo out of Fernie! BC boys in Lethbridge! I'll ask them to bring us some tasty BC wine. Hah!

As always, the show starts at 8pm sharp and is $10 at the door. Each cover charge gets you a ticket for the door prizes. If you wish to purchase more tickets to have better odds, you can do that too! Draws will be done throughout the night. Our door prizes are all generously donated from our local sponsors: Blueprint Entertainment, Catwalk Salon and Spa and the Chin Up Record Club on CKXU 88.3 fm, every Monday night from 8-9pm.

Thank you for your continued love and support of the Windy City Opry! I hope to see you there! xo

RUGGED LITTLE THING

Saskatoon's Rugged Little Thing blends together a perfect cocktail of Old Time, Bluegrass, and Folk Music that feels like home. Born out of kitchen jams and late nights by campfires in Canada's north, these two have fallen into sweet harmonies and catchy rhythms that are sure to get your toes tapping.

THE DOGGONE BROTHERS

This Kootenay duo is a recent side-project of Clayton Parsons (The Good ‘Ol Goats) and Michael Hepher (Redgirl, As The Crow Flies). Both seasoned musicians in the area, Clay and Mike crossed paths at a mutual friends’ birthday party and ended up jamming the night away. That night of jamming turned into a regular thing that they’ve named The Doggone Brothers. The music is distinctly ‘grassy, with fishing, hunting and camping themes throughout their set of original and hillbilly cover tunes. Clay jumps back and forth between guitar and dobro while Mike picks the mandolin and guitar. They are sure to entertain as they keep it fun and loose while duelling back and forth with their respective axes.
