Bent eight: 50's termanology for a hopped up v eight engine.
Bent Eight was formed by Dino Caravaggio (guitar/vocals) and Chris
Bullock (doghouse) in 2007.
The band has been through a few drumers and will have that seat filled
soon. We consider ourselves neo rockabilly as we add a little dirt to a
traditional sound. The band has gotten great feedback since playing
localy. We have been in the local news paper a few times and have also
had the opurtunity to open for rockabilly hallafamer Ronnie Hayward, the
Tennessee Three and Canadian rock(now blues) legend Jerry Doucette.
The band has been practicing and adding more songs to the playlist to
get ready to play more gigs in the summer. When the band was formed we
just set out to have some fun, but since we have been getting some
attention we've decided to take it a step further. Chris and his wife
Mary had to move to Ottawa for Chris's career so it has been hard to
find a upright bass player. We hope to pick up another bass player soon.
The band will be comming out with a CD in the near future with Smokin'
Ace Records and will be recorded at Crossroads Recording Studio a.

Not only do we have the best pizza in town, we are also the center of Lethbridge's NightLife.
We are the only bar in town featuring live music every day of the week. Canadian touring artists, local legends and new emerging artists, everyone stops here.
