While the title track of their major label debut “Small Town Dead,” is still getting constant airplay, so are the first two singles off of “Four”—“the first single “Last Cigarette”  and the most recent  single “Go Home” which has been on the Top 30 charts since they released in in April.

They formed in 2003 and released two  independent albums before being signed with Roadrunner Records
They break in the brand new location of Inferno (1016 1 Ave South  in the same building as Pulse,  in the pub side of the building) on Aug. 6.
“We released it last June. We did everything ourselves, ” said Bleeker Ridge drummer Dustin Steinke of “Four.”

He along with his brother , guitarist Dan Steinke and  brothers Taylor Perkins (Lead vocals) and Cole Perkins ( lead guitar) and bassist Mike Vandyk.

“It was very cool, we didn’t have anybody hovering over our shoulders telling us how it should sound,” he said.
“So things were more laid back and easygoing so we were just able to have fun,” he said adding “Four” follows their usual formula.

“So there's a ballad on it and a modern rock tune on it. We wrote a more old school rock and roll and blues that we were writing,” he said adding the album was picked up by Universal Records for distribution.

They are already writing the next album.

“We’re constantly writing. We have a lot of things left over from the last sessions and we’re always wring new stuff. And I don’t know if I’m allowed to say, but the next one will be on a major label in the United States.

“ They are taking us in a direction we wanted to go anyways,” he said.

They haven’t played Lethbridge before.
“We’ve played everywhere around there. We were playing with Buckcherry in either Medicine Hat or Red Deer,” he said.
“But whenever we come out west, we know audiences wil be great,” he said.

“We’ll be playing a lot form the new album and a couple from our other albums and if it is going well, we might play a new song. It should be a good night. It’s a Wednesday night which is a little weird. But we’re all about the energy . So of there are only 20 people, it will still be  great,” he said.

“And after we’ll have a few beers and hang out with people,” he said they are constantly adding to their Youtube Channel with backstage videos and songs and keep in touch with their fans through social media.”
There is a $10 cover for the show, which begins at 9 p.m.
