While Lethbridge jazz trio HBO3 are usually found entertaining  at Plum on Thursdays, but on Aug. 28 they featured something slightly  Julia Bentley and Myla playing Plum. Photo by Richard Amerydifferent for a full house.

Pianist Julia Bentley started the show with a little bit of jazz a touch of pop and bubbling enthusiasm which wafted above the chattering audience.

She played soothing jazz piano and sang pretty melodies. She tried to tell a few stories in between songs which nobody really listened to though they applauded politely after each one.

There was a song about fighting with a friend and not getting the apology she thought she deserved and a jazzy cover of No Doubt's “Spiderwebs.”

Myla aka Mandy Edel joined her on stage for her last song on guitar and to add some gorgeous vocal harmonies.

Myla played the piano after that and were in the midst of getting Aaron Collier aka Chandelier on piano by the time I had to leave for other gigs.
