Ross will be in town for two solo gigs at the Mocha Cabana, April 10 and 11.
“Martian Time Slip” also includes drummer Lorne Petersen.

“We haven’t played a gig in over a year,” Ross said.

“ We’re a surf band inspired by outer space. Our name is the title of a Philip K Dick book, so that says it all,” she said.

“ I’ll probably be going home after each show,” she continued. She played a show with her trio for the Lethbridge Folk Club and is excited to return on her own.

“ That was a lot of fun,” she said

“ I’m not entirely sure what I’ll be playing. It’s not until Friday. But there will be some blues, catchy originals and classics. It will be a mixed bag of entertaining music,” she said adding she has been busy recording new music for what she hopes will be a full length album.

“It takes time to do it right. I’d like to to be a full length album, but we haven’t recorded nearly enough tracks yet,” she continued.
Erin Ross plays the Mocha Cabana  6-9 p.m., April 10 and 11.
