As everyone else was on an extended break, the only other weekend show I caught was Jolene Draper and the Inquisitive Few playing in the shadows of the 1010 Pub, June 29 and running through several decades worth of music.

They played their usual energetic set of pop and rock including covering the White Stripes’ “7 Nation Army.” They explored their pop side on a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way” with lead singer Jolene Draper bouncing up and down as she sang. They dabbled in the ’60 with their usual solid cover of Jefferson Airplane’s “ Somebody To Love.“

They went back to the ’90s for the Spin Doctors  “ Two Princes,” and showed their heavy ’90s side on a cover  of Rammstein’s “Du Hast.”
