The Lethbridge Folk Club kicked off 2020 with  a sedate night of ethereal celtic music from Edmonton band Celtara, Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Lethbridge Folk Club Cave.Celtera's Tami Cooper and Bonnie Gregory at the Lethbridge College Cave, Jan 18. Photo by Richard Amery
A decent crowd of approximately 70 people sat enraptured by ethereal vocal harmonies mixed with flute, fiddle and assortment of percussion and guitar.

Celtara played a tranquil and pleasant  show of “Irish gossip songs” according to flautist/tin whistle player/ vocalist Tami Cooper, who harmonized beautifully with fiddler Bonnie Gregory.

Cooper promised to “go deeper” and were good for their word.

I wanted to see a lot of different shows, so cut out during a beautiful instrumental, which seemed to be winding down the set.

Kavanagh and Hepher opened the show, but I missed it.
