Local country/rock band the Plaid Ramblers were on the bill, Friday, Sept. 10.

They played a fun, solid set of modern rock, pop and country music including Jake Owen’s “Anywhere With You.”

They also added a couple catchy ’90s pop rock numbers and a little grunge with Alice in Chains’ Rooster before returning to the country rock.

They wound up their set with a trio of country favourites including Dierks Bentley’s “Drunk on a Plane” and Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet’s “It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere.”

Except for the line  “ What Would Jimmy Buffett Do?,” they added “What would the Canadian Brewhouse Patio Do?”

They wound up their set with  Eric Church’s “Drink in my Hand.”

New Testament Play the patio on Sept. 24 and Coda Lite play on  Oct. 1.
