I also caught a preview of Dalliance Elixir’s upcoming show opening for John Wort Hannam this weekend.
Murray Nelson, Bruce Roome and Jolene Draper were at the Mueller Gallery playing a laid back set of jazz tinged pop for one of the stops on Saturday’s art gallery tour.
They were performing a lot of crowd favourites including standards by Fleetwood Mac as well as Jefferson Airplane and more modern pop from Macy Grey and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs as well as more unusual material by Ani DiFranco as well as a couple crowd favourites from Ida Marie including “I Like You So Much Better When You’re Naked” and “Stella,” as well as a couple of jazzy, bluesy originals.
