The Contemporary Jazz Works Orchestra backed the singers and Juran Greene, doing his best Ray Charles, played the beaming and affable host of the jazz party of the year.

The singers were all top notch and Greene ended the show with an the Contemporary Jazz Works Orchestra. Photo by Richard Ameryexcellent version of “Shake a Tailfeather.”

The band was crack— tight as  could be and didn’t miss a note  for the enraptured  crowd crammed shoulder to shoulder, wall to wall like sardines in the T and G.

A few dancers threaded their way to the front of the stage to dance to the funky music.
