Edmonton night in Lethbridge wound up with  the Raygun Cowboys, who capped off a big show at the Slice with Kory IstaceThe Raygun Cowboys. Photo by Richard Amery vs The Time Pirates as well as the Smokestack Jacks.

Due to all the other cool shows happening, I only caught the last three upbeat, toe tapping, razor sharp rockabilly songs from  the Raygun Cowboys.

I was impressed, not only with the lead singer Jon Christopherson’s voice and incendiary playing but the killer hoOakland Valleau plays his upright bee bass. Photo by Richard Ameryrn section who blew the audience down.

They were backed by an unstoppable beat and a shuddering stand up bass decorated like a gigantic bumblebee.
