The trio began their second set with a spirited acoustic version of Paul Simon’s Graceland, but switched to electric guitars and  slowed things down soon after.

But the lead singer had an appealing voice, reminiscent of Rob Thomas, and locally, the Necessities, plus an excellent sense of melody, and the bassist writhed and set down a groovy rhythm.
