Marq De Souza returned home to play for a decent sized crowd of about 40 friends and family at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Aug. 10.
He played a solo set accompanying himself on guitar and harmonica, observing “ I don’t really have a set list, I’m just playing some songs I wrote.”
There were a lot of familiar tunes from his CD. He showed a superb, raspy voice which reminded me of Prism’s Al Harlow. He also picked some fine guitar, adding elements of folk and a touch of blues.
