I checked out the JPS trio at the Slice, Nov. 27, and was told “I missed an excellent show’ this one by Sandwich, a local supergroup who do interesting arrangements of popular hits. They were winding up their set with a jazzy version of one of Michael Jackson’s songs.
The JPS Trio (John Paul Smith, Kyle Harmon and Dino Scavo) was back for a quick and diverse second set which ran the gamut including Neil Young’s ‘Down By The River,’ a little bit of reggae as well as some punk tinged originals. They’ll be back for a rescheduled video shoot at Henotic, Dec. 11.
