He just returned from the PEAK Project boot camp where he discovered, while he has been in the business a long time and in Shout Out Out Out Out for 10 years, there is still a lot more to learn.

“I went in as a cynic — as an old rock and roller. But I found there is so much to learn. We had  people in the business like record label executives and radio trackers and people from the PEAK talking about how to interview. People whose jobs you really wouldn’t think about unless you knew people who have those jobs. So now, there is a list of literally 100 things that I have to do now,” he said.

“Now we’re decompressing from all of that.”

He said Shout Out Out Out out has been on a hiatus a while band mate Will Zimmerman looks after his new baby.

So Wet Secrets has been busy doing a lot of  shows and tours.

“ We went to South By Southwest (In Austin) and  did a European joint and did a full Canadian tour. Now we’re going to the WCMA in Winnipeg, he said.

He noted Shout Out Out Out Out is in the process of getting back together so he is looking forward to playing an upbeat danceable set with them as well as a more straight ahead rock set with the wet Secrets.
Wet Secrets are performing in Galt Garden at  3:40 p.m., while Shout Out Out Out ends the mainstage entertainment at 8 p.m.
