A lot of great music happened in Lethbridge in 2014, but 2015 is already looking to be just as amazing.
While one of Lethbridge’s go to original live music venue the Slice hasn’t announced many of their upcoming shows, there are some big names coming to the Enmax Centre including the Tragically Hip on Feb. 10, shock rocker Marilyn Manson on April 4 and classic British pop metal band Def Leppard on April 24.
Average Joes is also starting to feature mid level bands and plenty of classic Canadian rock.

 Country singer Aaron Pritchett returns to Lethbridge to play Average Joes, Jan. 26 with  Cory Marquardt and King and Cash.
Canandian classic rock band Saga come to Average Joes on  Feb. 14. Average Joes also love their tribute acts so they bring back  AC DC tribute Who Made Who, Feb. 15.

They have a busy week that week as they also celebrate St. Patrick‘s Day a day late on Feb. 18 with the one and only Irish Descendants.
 This month The Owl Acoustic Lounge has some cool stuff planned including New Brunswick bluesman Ross Neilsen returning on  Jan. 30.
 They have a variety of music ranging from roots to crazy DJ s and alternative rock.

 This week Winnipeg folk punk Greg Rekus returns to the Owl on a Monday, to play Jan 12.
 The Geomatic Attic has a sweet season planned for the first part of  2015 including Big Sugar playing an acoustic show at the University of Lethbridge on  Feb. 23. Whitehorse playing the University of Lethbridge as well on April 18 and the return of the Joel Plaskett Emergency, May 19.

 Not to be outdone, the Lethbridge Folk Club has a lot of variety for the first half of the year beginning Jan. 10 at the Cave at Lethbridge College with the Mark Sadlier Brown Band playing toe tapping rockabilly and roots music with openers Jack Daniels.
 They are also having a couple shows in the Wolf’s Den where they have open mics on the second and fourth Fridays of each month. They bring in Ken Stead to the Wolf’s Den on  Jan. 30 and Steve Cormier and Peter -Paul van Camp on March 1.
 They also have some excellent blues music  this season with the Ben Sures Trio coming to the Lethbridge College Cave, March 28 and Guy Davis on April 23. They end their season with fabulous female roots trio Sweet Alibi on May 16.
