Barely anybody was there to hear  a whole lot of twanging rockabilly July 18 at Casino Lethbridge from local rockabilly trio Bent 8.

They played  a fun set of upbeat original rockabilly music and classics. They turned the Ramones’ “Blitzkrieg Bop” into a rockabilly song, which was a lot of a fun.

They had a couple of two steppers on the dance floor who were requesting they play something slow.

So frontman/ guitarist Dino Caravaggio, drummer Dean Wilson and upright bassist Keenan Pezderic did their best to accommodate. Their original songs drew quite a bit of applause .
