Up and coming country star Jordan McIntosh has come a long way in the two years he has been chasing his dream. He has won scores of awards and accolades, has toured with his idols and he hasn’t even released his debut full length album — yet.
This first album will be out early 2016.

arleton Place born songwriter returns to Lethbridge to play a sold out show at Average Joes with his best friend Brett Kissel, Nov. 26.
“ It is? that’s great news, McIntosh enthused from Bassano, noting the tour has gone very well with several sold out shows.
“ I’ve had a blast,” said the 19-year-old, who has several hits including a countrified version of Lil Wayne’s pop hit “ How To Love,” “That Girl,” “ Story of My life with george Canyon and “I Grew Up in A Country Song,” the title of his new album.
“There’s been a few sold out shows. It means I get to play in front of big crowds and pump people up and get them excited for Brett Kissel,” he continued.
“So I’m very excited Lethbridge is sold out,” he said.
McIntosh won the 2014 CMAO Rising Star Award and has been nominated for the 2015 CCMA Rising Star Award. But that just means he gets to play in more places.
“My first two years have been very busy. I got to tour with a lot of people I admire and I’ve had some really cool experiences,” he said.
“I’ve got to tour with people I grew up listening to like Allan Jackson, Sam Hunt and Hunter Hayes.”
He never expected to get all the attention he has received.
“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it,” he said.
He is excited about releasing his debut full length album.
“It’s fantastic. There's a still a lot to be done with the title and art, but it will be out early next year in January or February,” he said.
“I’m very excited that people will have a chance to hear a full length album. I’ve spent a lot of time in Nashville writing. So I’ve been in a studio there as well as a studio in Vancouver with Jeff Johnson. So all of the songs on it were written in the last six months, so It’s going to be a really excellent representation of where I am right at this point in my life,” he said.
“I’m very proud of it,” he said.
He said his Lethbridge set will include a few songs from the new CD including the single and the next single “Sunroof.”
McIntosh is also excited about touring with Brett Kissel again.
“When I first toured with him two years ago, he was just coming up too. We’ve become best friends. He’s like a brother to me. This will be our second tour. So there will be no getting to know each other. We can just hang out,” he said.
“I’m excited to come back to Lethbridge. The country fans always come out. It’s a sold out show. So I’m just excited to get out and meet everybody and get everybody pumped up and excited for Brett Kissel,” he said.
Unfortunantely McIntosh won’t be able to play the rest of the tour as he had to return home for a family emergency.
