Rancho Deluxe and Queen of the Worms mark slow week

As expected, things slow down a lot in Lethbridge this week due to Christmas. But there are a couple of key local shows which usually occur this time of year at the Slice.
If you still need to get into the Christmas spirit, the Mormon church features their live Nativity program, Dec. 22-24.

The 29th annual live nativity presentation is Dec. 22-24 at 6-8 pm. every 20 minutes each night at the LDS Church on Forestry Avenue South.

But for pure fun, local rock band Queen of the Worms featuring Tyler Bird plays the Slice, Dec. 23 to get you primed for the holidays.

And if you’ve had enough turkey and perhaps family, local country/ folk/ roots band Rancho Deluxe play the Slice on Boxing Day. They always equal a good time for people who love root, folk and alternative country music. Shaela Miller and Skinny Dyck will be sharing the stage with them.

Local ’90s cover band Uncovered will be playing Casino Lethbridge on Boxing Day as well at 8 p.m.
