I stuck around  for  strong set of Strokes inspired  rock and roll with a  whole lot of ambience and lots of delay on the vocals from local band Wint. They featured the bassist of Medicine Hat metal band Terra playing guitar and channelling some weird synth effect though his microphone.
They played a short set of ambience, chiming guitars and throbbing bass with lots of melody and short songs.
I was running back and forth between venues so I completely missed local favourites Open Channels. I arrived at the end of their set in the middle of a standing ovation, with lots of applause, capped off by the lead singer telling them “We literally don’t know any more songs.”
