Local University of Lethbridge based alternative radio station CKXU wound up their annual Fundrive with a sedate party at the Slice, March 24.
With all the volunteers feeling a little exhausted from a week of hard work raising $22,225, turnout was a little down. But CKXU host Murray of Murray’s Retro sang along with some classic rock.
Then for something a little different a trumpet player played some excellent solos over some jazz tracks. After that, as the audience trickled away, it was all about dance music.
