The Windsor based rock and roll trio stop by the Slice, May 26 in support of their new Gavin Brown  produced single “High.”

“The tour is going really good,” said Nathan McNevin, frontman and guitarist/ bassist of the band, which also includes guitarist Nathan Schiller and drummer Nick Predhomme.

The single has done well since  the release in January , spending 11 weeks on the Canadian active rock charts and peaking at 37 last week.

“Sometimes we have a bassist. But I play bass too,” he said from a day off in Lake Louise.
“Playing as a trio is a bit of a challenge,  but we give it everything,” he said.
They enjoyed working with Gavin Brown on the new single “High.”

“The album came out a year ago. He only did the single. He’s worked with 3 Days Grace and  the Tragically Hip. So that’s amazing,” he said.

They won the Rock Search Contest from radio station 97.7 HTZFM and released their debut Cd “Collection of Thoughts in February 2016.

“Glorious Sons and the Sheepdogs and Finger Eleven also won the contest. So we were pretty excited to win it. But we probably wouldn’t do another one,” he said, noting they just finished a tour with the Sheepdogs.

“I’m always writing. We’ll probably record another single later,” he said, adding fans can expect an energetic show.

“We play a high energy, interactive show. You can stay home and listen to a CD and chill and drink tea, but when you go out, we like to make shows a collective experience,” he said.

The Silence Factory play the Slice, May 26 with A Trozzo and the Electric Few and Medicine Hat rock band Strange Animal. The cover is a $10 suggested donation.
