“Our music isn’t as palatable as the music of Megan’s,” Lam said.

“We come from the tradition of high school bands, so musicians end up really liking our music,” he continued, noting they are currently working on their first full length album in addition to an album with Nash.
Bears In Hazenmore (Brady Frank, Vocals, Keys, Guitar; Dana Rempel, Bass, Sax; Darnell Stewart, Guitar,  Dalton Lam, Trumpet, Keys and drummer Tanner Wilhelm Hale) and Megan Nash play the Owl Acoustic Lounge,June 3.

“This album is the biggest musical project we’ve ever done. We’ve only done Eps or videos,” he said, adding they are taking their time with the album so likely won’t release it until next year.
“I’m feeling it will be the best thing we’ve done.  There is a lot more collaboration on this album. Everyone contributed their ideas. On the EPs, Brady would bring in his songs,” he said.

The album with Megan Nash is also on the agenda.

“It’s been great to collaborate with her,” Lam said.
“ I’m not sure when the album with her will come out,” he said.
The live show will be a collaboration with Megan Nash and Bears in Hazenmore. Plus bears of Hazenmore will be playing their own set.

“We’re playing  a lot of shows and festival as Bears in Hazenmore. But when we play with Megan, we play together,” he said, noting they have several festivals booked for the summer including the Jammin’ the lake  and  the Long Day Night Festival in Swift Current.
