Saskatchewan born blues musician Suzie Vinnick is excited to return to the Geomatic Attic, Dec .4 with MonkeyJunk guitarist Tony D.

“ The last time I was in Lethbridge I did two Home Routes house Concerts,” observed Vinnick from her first visit to Flin Flon, where she enjoying her fifth Home Routes House Concert tour.
“It’s really pretty here. And the audiences are hungry for live music according to the host,” she said.

The 10 time Maple Blues Award winner, three time Juno nominee has been busy touring and is almost done  her sixth solo album to be called “Share the Love Around.”
“ I started working on it in 2016 and I should officially release it in 2018,” she said, adding the Lethbridge show will likely include some of the new  songs, plus plenty from  her always popular album “Me N’ Mabel” as well as songs she recorded with Tony Dieteodoro and his Cool Band in 1992 called “Dig Deep.”

“So it will be cool to play some of those songs again and some blues classics,” she said.

“ Tony and I go back a long way. He had  a relationship in Saskatoon then and I got to know him then. When that ended, he moved back to Ottawa. When I moved to Toronto, I kept in touch with him,” she said, adding she is excited to tour with him after the current Home Routes tour ends in Edmonton, where Diteodoro now has a relationship.

“ It’s going to be so great to play with him again,” she said.
She is excited about the new album which includes special guests including Colin Linden and Kevin Breit.
 Thanks to the power of the internet, she sent them tracks to play on in their home studios,” she said.

 She recorded the CD at The Old Sumbler House in Fenwick, Ontario with producer ,Mark Lalama and Gary Craig, drummer for Blackie and the Rodeo Kings and Tom Cochrane, Bruce Cockburn and Colin Linden, to name a few, is also on the CD. He has played on three of her five albums.

 She launched a GoFundme Crowd funding campaign to record the album, though impressive pre-sales of the album helped her on her way. She hopes to raise $18,000 for it.
 In addition to  talented hired guns, Vinnick plays an array of instruments on the Cd including guitar, steel guitar and bass on the CD.

“I’m pretty excited to play the Geomatic Attic again and play for Mike (Spencer) and his wife again. The last time I was there was with David Gogo,” she said.
“ People who like great guitar playing will not go away disappointed,” she promised.
 Tickets are $32.50  for the show, which begins at 8 p.m.
