Also on Dec. 22, the Slice features a Holiday Curtain (cocktail) raiser with local musicians Erica Hunt, Kurt Ciesla, Don Ponech, Paul Holden and Brad Brouwer. It begins at 9 p.m. There is a $10 cover.

Just out of town at KCs pub in Coaldale, local country band Bow City Underground, who include band members from Indagruv, will be performing blues, rock and country favourites. There is no cover for the show.
