Jenn and Paul Kype sing the hits for Casino crowd

 Jenn and Paul Kype played the hits at Casino Lethbridge, Dec. 8 and 9.
 Jenn and Paul Kype playing Casino Lethbridge, Dec. 9. Photo by Richard AmeryI only caught one set on Saturday, Dec. 9 which showcased Jenn Kype’s vocals and their country side.. She sang a hauntingly beautiful version of Dolly Parton’s hit “Jolene,” to open the set.
Her husband added tasteful guitar solos, while a drum machine supplied subtle beats.


 Jenn Kype followed that up by fulfilling an audience request for Concrete Blonde’s  ’90s hit “ Joey”


She also sang a powerful version of Cat Stevens’ “ First Cut is the Deepest.”


 Paul Kype sang a few songs as well including Bob Seger’s “Night Moves” and joined his wife of a duet of “Jackson.”
He a sang an apt version of Sam Cooke’s “Saturday Night,” then played harp as he sang a heartfelt version of Neil Young’s Heart of Gold.”
