Lots of holiday entertainment this week

But a busy week begins tonight with another Geomatic Attic show in a new location.
Vancouver based Andrea Superstein plays the Mortar and brick Gallery tonight with Elizabeth Shepherd.
Superstein blends a variety of different  styles into her music including blues, pop, electronic and lots of jazz. Tickets are $40. The show begins at 8 p.m.
If you like traditional country music Tre Twitty and Twlya Lynn continue a busy week at the Yates Theatre with their tribute to Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn tonight, Monday, Nov. 25. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $49.50.


Christmas shows are the order of the week this week, with a special holiday themed tribute to  the Beatles, Beach Boys, and BeeGees and Motown with Four By Four, who are performing at the Yates Sterndale Theatre, Wednesday, Nov. 27.
 Tickets are $67.50.The music begins at 7 p.m,.


 Vox Musica celebrates the season at Southminster United Church, Saturday, Nov. 30. Their holiday show  also features the Aeris Brass quintet and U of L Incanto Singers. The music begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at Casa for $25. Children under 12 get in for free.
 And you can’t have Christmas without the Nutcracker. So check out Jeunesse Classique Ballet Society’s production of  the popular Yuletide ballet at the Yates Theatre, Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
 Tickets are  $25.20, $28, $32.25 and $38. The production begins at 7:30 p.m., Jan, 29 and 30, Pus there is a 2:30 matinee on Dec. 1.


 If you aren’t ready to celebrate Christmas in November, there are lots of other entertainment options.
 Sing your favourite Broadway hits at  the Owl Acoustic Lounge for  Lethbridge Musical Theatre’s Broadway open mic on Saturday from 2-5 p.m,.

 Or get your rock on on a Thursday night when the Owl Acoustic Lounge features a late show featuring the Night Terrors and local rock band Biloxi Parish, who play after their monthly poetry open mic at 7 p.m.
 Don’t forget to laugh at the Owl Acoustic Lounge’s monthly comedy open mic on Wednesday, Nov. 27.  And Good Times features magician Richard Young, Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance $15 at the door.

 


 Good Times has a busy week as they bring back Bridgette Yarwood and her band, Nov. 29 with guests Christine Scherger and Mitch Melvin. The show begins at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door or $5 online. it is back to the laughs at Good Times with Edmonton comedian Drew Behm playing two shows at 7 p,m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $10. Good Times opens December with a special presentation by magician/ comedian Wes Barker on Dec. 1. He performs at 8 p.m. tickets are $20.


The Slice goes folk on Friday with Marco Sylver, Trevor Christinansen and Emily Rose performing.
 The Slice goes local with indie rock band the Utilities and Jon Martin’s new project Jon Martin and the Lovers playing on Friday. it is all about pop punk on Saturday at the Slice with Calgary’s Homeless in Hawaii, Saskatchewan first nations  indie rock band The Reckless Famous and local bands the Waterfront and King Dylan.
 Lately a lot of people are covering Winnipeg songwriter Richard Inman’s  songs, so don’t miss the real thing when Inman returns to the Owl Acoustic Lounge on Saturday. Markus Sommer will be joining him on the Stories and Songs Tour.
Casino Lethbridge features Between Skies playing an array of pop, jazz, country and rock music on Friday and Saturday.
