Lethbridge rocks this week.
The music cylinder is firing on all cylinders this week with a little something for everyone.

 begin the week with a little jazz at the Water Tower Grill, where Don Rob and Randy Epp will be playing trumpet and piano respectively from 6-8 p.m.
Ian Morrice hosts the Slice’s Thursday open mic.

Jenn and Paul Kype aka Southern Comforts will be playing jazz and blues music at Honker‘s Pub on Friday, Oct. 16. from 7-10 p.m.
 The Trippy Hippys will be hosting Honker’s Pub’s afternoon open mic on Oct. 17 beginning at 4 p.m.
 And dust off the spandex and get ready to bang your head as Lethbridge‘s Def Leppard tribute Stage Fright: the Def Leppard Experience rock Club Lime with spacial guests, Live Wire: A Motley Crüe Tribute.
 The rock begins at  8:30. Tickets are $30.

And we don’t want to  say the “S” word, but winter is almost upon us, so get your mind on the beach instead of the snow drifts, with local surf rock band the Atomicos, who return to the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Friday, Oct 16.

 Good Time Charlie plays  your favourite rock and roll the hits at the Slice, Oct. 16 as well. There is a $10 cover for that show as well.
 The Chevelles hold court again at Sound Garden this weekend to play even more classic rock hits.

 There is a $10 cover for their Friday and Saturday shows.

 Saturday will be a lot of fun.
 I don’t want to say the C word either, but if you want to get Christmas shopping done early, shop local and visit the Lethbridge Handmade Market at  Exhibition Park  from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is five dollars.
 Mike Spencer and the Geomatic Attic had planned the Autumn Leaves festival at Legacy Park on Saturday afternoon from 1-5 p.m., but the event has been cancelled due to the weather.

The Mark Hall Band will be playing country music on Saturday, Oct, 17 at Beaches Pub.

 For more alternative palates, local blues rock band Coda plays the Slice, Oct. 17 with indie rock band Fawns. Admission is $10.
And Joel Stretch of Starpainter and the Utilities plays a free show at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Oct. 17.
Calgary comedian Malik Elassal will be making you laugh for two shows at Good Times, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission is $15.
Good Times features a comedy showcase of local talent, on Friday at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Theatre Outré are taking a week off from their successful run of Confessional, but will be back for more shows leading up to the Halloween season.
