The band was all dressed in leather as they performed on a darkened stage, lit only by a multi-media presentation of oceanic and pirate themed lyric videos coinciding with their performance.

They had a false start on their first song, “Neverending Nightmare” but got it together for the rest of the show as they started the song and accompanying video from the beginning.

Lead singer Sloan Voxxkills showed off her multi-octave operatic voice as she belted out a variety of songs from their  new CD “ Beyond the Depths.”

They were  the first band I heard admonish  exuberant  audience members to put on a  mask before approaching the stage.

Most of them complied, some more reluctantly.

Because they lyrics to songs like the thunderous drinking song “Three Sheets to the Wind,” “Panic Room” and Unbreakable,” the audience could sing along, but they were content to let the band perform a tight set of thrash metal and power metal featuring jagged riffs and hot guitar solos.
