Breanne Urban and Southern Flyer make long awaited return to stage

I haven’t seen the revamped  Breanne Urban and Southern Flyer before but still only caught the end of one of their Oct. 24 sets at Sound Garden.

Their new guitarist, Casey Hellawell was singing  Luke Combs’s new hit “ When it Rains it Pours.” They had a trimmed down line up including drummer Bob Gammon, lead guitarist/vocalist Casey Hellawell, bassist Les Keslera and Urban on vocals and percussion.

Urban, who had a busy day as she was also  singing  with Volbeat tribute Rebel Angel that afternoon at Lane Plato’s wake at  Honker’s Pub in the afternoon, followed it up by belting out a note perfect version of Shania Twain’s  “ You’re Still the One.”

It was a pleasure to hear her big, beautiful voice again and looking like she was in her element on stage.

They will be back at Sound Garden, Dec. 4 and 5.
