Zombies take over Average Joes with Smokestack Jacks, Living Luca and Sleeping With Tuesday

 The show started late with local blues punk duo Smokestack Jacks who were a fearsome sight dressed as bloody zombies.

They played their usual strong set of slide guitar powered blues which had a lot of zombies in front of the stage.

Photo by Richard AmeryI missed the Living Luca’s set, but  was pleased to hear  Bridgette Yarwood singing backup vocals with  Sleeping With Tuesday, who played a lot of their latest CD Shuffle including “Ska Sally,” on which Yarwood sang beautifully.

They also sang numerous  amped up ’80s covers including the Cars’ “Just What I Needed,” as well as  Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline.”
