Steve Keenan is a Lethbridge based singer songwriter musician who has been immersed in music since the age of five. Starting out on the fiddle he has picked up many instruments along the way before finally settling on the guitar and writing his own music. Fat Baby Jake began in 2001 as a powerhouse trio with different incarcerations along the way with Steve being the original frontman since the beginning. Most recently he has been collaborating with Shane Love and Geoff Stuckey who have brought a whole new feel to the band. Steve has just finished recording an album in October of 2009 "Better Than Gold" which consists of some powerful blues music as well as a southern rock feel mixed with some intense ballads. There is something to be said about their live show as well, with a variety of different music including old time fiddle tunes with amazing energy leaving the audience members captivated for more. Fat Baby Jake is a band you definitely dont want to miss!!!
